We are getting a 1 week old baby boy placed with us today. We are very excited. We have been wanting and praying for a boy. As usual we don't know how long we will have him, or ultimately how the case will turn out. However the case case turns out we glad to have him. We love foster care. It is such a blessing to provide care for the very needy (I do mean needy) children. For the record, this is not an actual picture of the child.

ReplyDeleteI've come across this pic many times and it reminds me of my son Jayden. Jayden passed away on his 4 month birthday and is deeply missed every day.
ReplyDeleteI think it is beautiful what you and your wife do for children. My parents were foster parents from the time I was 3 until I was 15. We always had up to 5 boys along with the five of us kids. It takes an incredibly loving family to give the way you do and I have a special sort of respect for that type of selflessness.
